After being let down by a previous company I found Charles Newchurch French Polisher. It was the best thing that happened. I rang Jean, sent some photos of the damage to the table and a couple of chips on the sideboard door received an estimate as to the cost and within a matter of days my dining table was collected. As I was having building work done in the house it was agreed that they would keep my table until I was ready for it to be returned. When returned the sun damage on the table and the chips on the  sideboard had all been repaired and the items look as good if not better than the day we bought them. 5 star service - Table looks brand new I had my G Plan dining table sanded re-stained and refinished. Previously it had water mark damage, scratches and an uneven polish build up. I'm delighted with the result as it looks like new and not a scratch in sight. I can't fault the service, someone came to my home to view the table and provide a quote. The table was collected and returned within a week. Jean who runs the office was helpful and kept me informed as to when the table would be collected. Graham came to look at Gnomeman furniture that I was buying. He took it to his workshop and removed the ink stain on the dresser and other stains on the table. A wonderful job restoring a nest of tables (Ercol) which belonged to my parents so have some sentimental value. I had damaged solid oak furniture a dining table, a chair, and a oak bedhead, considering buying new when a joiner friend recommended I ask around and check star ⭐️ ratings. Well, am I so pleased I did this as it put me in touch with these FANTASTIC friendly guys. They assessed my furniture to check if repairable, made arrangements to collect at my convenience, estimated a timeframe of completion (in which they were within that timeframe) made contact to deliver restored furniture.
